I just read one of my friend's blog (monina) and it is so amazing to know how she chose a friend rather than to the person whom she once loved. ((smiles)) I do agree with you, my friend. Lovers will just come and go, but true friends will always be there. Would like to share to you my insights of what is a friend in our lives.
It is not easy to define a "friend". But i would like to share my points of view as what is a friend.
A friend is a person with whom you dare to be yourself. Your soul can be naked with him/her. A friend seems to ask of you to put on something, only to be what you are. A friend does not want you to be better or worse, when you are with them, you feel as a prisoner feels who has been declared innocent..
You do not have to be on your guard. You can say what you think, as long at it is genuinely you. A friend understands those contradictions in your nature that lead others to misjudge you. With a friend you breath freely. A friend understands. You do not have to be careful. You can keep still with a friend.
What is a friend to you? Just once, I repeat, with whom you dare to be yourself.

hi there ! chiki here ... funny when you are just new ... so many things to learn and as i explore i finally come to get into you page as well ... hon, it is amazing how we spent time together near each other only to realize now that i am far one more of your talents ... now i see how beautifully you express your thoughts and feelings in words ... now i give you one more salute ... as i get to be more proud of you and happy i am your friend as well ... i realize how our friendship manage to conquer space and time ... so glad you reach out to me as i think of you ... yes, i am missing our moments of smiles and laughter but glad to know that when i will cry you are just there ... so blessed i am for friends like you who have touched my life with peace , contentment and assurance ... giving me the testimony of the hand that works beyond this world who loves a daughter for what we are worth ... i am talking of my Heavenly Father's love ... endlessly reminding me of His promise that on this existence His spirit will always be with us ... for in this life we may grow old in mortal years but to our Father in the eternities we are only small kids who went schooling as we learn to cope and survive ... indeed things happen on this earth always with a reason that as we touch everyone's life we know we are really important and never think that we are created by mere accident ... our life has a purpose in which we are to discern so that as we succeed we reap a crown of glory that as friends we have worked on together ... when time is past and we look back ... i know our heart will understand and in wisdom see why our friendship was one as it has gone ... cheers then my friend ... blog ka lang now that i finally discover the fun of this computer ... hehehe ...

that definition of a FRIEND mare, fits to a T and u r that to me. We have shared so many things whether spoken or not,we know each other so well.

Yes mare...we've been friends for quite a long time..the ups and downs we shared. Those unspoken words but we know and feel what's deep inside of us. No one can destroy our friendship coz we know each other well. May our friendship be more stronger with God's guidance and support.
Hehehe chiki is like that mare..a sentimental lady, she could always makes us cry thou sad or joyful tears.
