Chat Kinda Relationship

Cyber -love and chat etiquette does exist? I know it does.
While chatting away you may come across someone who happens to have your same interest. And after talking with this person for some time, you may become attracted to them and vice versa. But let's be careful coz it will just give you a broken heart coz you may never know if the person is honest and sincere. The person can be messing around with someone and totally stabbing you in the back. It may seem great and everything, but something just might be lurking under the surface. Specially if the guy is withholding too much and hiding his identity.

Cyber friends/lovers can pose as "nice," but may hide a beast behind the mask.
One can probably argue that love can never go wrong. But in my experience, it can and can go drastically wrong. Love if you must. But we should bear in mind that loving someone does not guarantee being loved back. We must know that a man who loves you and a man who simply wants to string you along. A man who loves you will pursue you no matter what. He will make intentions known. He will declare NOT deny his affections and identity to you.

So friends, beware of serious chat relationship..it breaks your heart!

Irene with the Chronicle

Do you chronicle your life or parts of it on the internet for the world to see? So do we.
Isn't it a waste that such creatively done works are kept secrets, obscure from the eyes of public?
I can name a few of my good friends here, who are great bloggers, they have great ideas, thoughts to share to us. For me, it's never a waste of time to put your thoughts and feelings into words, yes, sometimes they get personal, maybe too personal, but as long as we don't hurt people's feelings.
I started writing journal/poems when I was in high school. I still have it with me ((grins)) hidden inside my closet. Then sometimes i have the feeling of reading it over and over again just to remember those great past. It was just an outlet for me to express myself and say things and feelings that i was uncertain about. There's been a full year that i didn't write anything. I even forgot I was a member of this blogger site since 2002 (lol). If you don't write.. it doesn't mean it's the end of the world. I wouldn't write a thing that you wouldn't want someone else to read. Now, I'm back! (yacks!)
Thou, i don't have a specific time, but it is usually at night, I write the most. Sometimes , I just get the urge to write and I will do it on any scrap of paper i can find.
I write anything fancy. I use it mostly for poems. I also tell stories and things that have happened like I would in a diary.
Few friends of mind, would leave comments and thanks to you all.

For you Darling

I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you.
We have so much to catch up on... it seems I have a million things to tell you,
but somehow, there's just never enough time to do all I'd really like to do.
I miss sharing the day-to-day things in our lives; So often when something
interesting or exciting happens,
I find myself imagining how you might react,
In fact, thinking of you always brings a smile.
So I hope you know that you're still
a special part of my life... and even though
I don't often find the time to tell you,
You're often on my mind and heart.

( this is for you and you know who you are ((smiles)) )

THE PAINS OF LIVING

I was created...
that i may live
to experience the joys, of being part of the world.
I was educated...
that i may be able
to learn the difference,
between what is right and what is wrong.
But alas, I was a fool,
I did not learn the lesson,
for a i allowed myself,
to be a victim of this cruel world.
I lived and grew up.
I trusted the wrong people,
And now, i could not stop the tears,
For i felt the pains of living...

WHAT IS A FRIEND?

I just read one of my friend's blog (monina) and it is so amazing to know how she chose a friend rather than to the person whom she once loved. ((smiles)) I do agree with you, my friend. Lovers will just come and go, but true friends will always be there. Would like to share to you my insights of what is a friend in our lives.

It is not easy to define a "friend". But i would like to share my points of view as what is a friend.

A friend is a person with whom you dare to be yourself. Your soul can be naked with him/her. A friend seems to ask of you to put on something, only to be what you are. A friend does not want you to be better or worse, when you are with them, you feel as a prisoner feels who has been declared innocent..

You do not have to be on your guard. You can say what you think, as long at it is genuinely you. A friend understands those contradictions in your nature that lead others to misjudge you. With a friend you breath freely. A friend understands. You do not have to be careful. You can keep still with a friend.

What is a friend to you? Just once, I repeat, with whom you dare to be yourself.

One of the Best

I am not a wide reader. But I read books and other reading materials depends on my moods and the availability of time.

Remembering those days..during those teens. I got hold of Sidney Sheldon awesome novels. MEMORIES OF MIDNIGHT was the first i ever read. It was really a gripping page-turner. From then on, i didn't hesitate to buy his books everytime i see one. Now i have 10 of his books.

Have you ever read the books of Fr. Andrew M. Greeley. He tells his story with charm and wit, and with some more than a dollop of steamy sex...that's Greeley's forte. Try to get hold of "Thy Brother's Wife." Right now im reading his "Contract With An Angel." This is a story about a man who, without much choice in the matter, signed a contract with an angel. It is a risky business to get involved with angels. The consequences were disastrous.

Oh, by the way, my good friend Yami told me about "William Diehl," It's one of her favorite author. And you know what, i bought Reign in Hell but i couldnt read it first hehehehe coz i have to look for those 2 other Sequels. Dang, was so excited when i bought the book hahaha but i just have to wait. I just finished reading "PRIMAL OF FEAR." It is really a first-class psychological thriller with every twists and turns to keep us breathless and not minding the time. I really thanked Yami for introducing me to William Diehl, enjoyed his books very much and now im very excited to look for the 2nd sequel...SHOW OF EVIL before i could read the "REIGN IN HELL."

Don't you worry , Yam when you come to Cebu i'll treat you with a pizza and mmm errrr tequila wont be forgotten hahaha. So long teqiula girl! :))

Weight or Lightness

Staring blank...holding a pen trying to conceive my thoughts. Seems the brain is covered with cobwebs which the mind having a hard time to function. (hehehe) Only me could decipher my writings...pardon me, things makes no sense sometimes.

Quite awhile this pen wasnt working. Depends on the moods, feelings that one could scribble some thoughts in writing. Mind, thinking of the burdens our lives is undertaking. The heaviest of burdens crushes us, we sink beneath it, it pins us to the ground.

Remembered some our unforgettable unpleasant memories way back. And i realized the heavier the burden, the closer our lives come to the earth, the more real and truthful they become.

But the absence of a burden causes man to be lighter than air, to soar into the heights, take leave of the earth and his earthly being, and become only half-real, his movements as free as they are insignificant.

So let me ask you, What then shall we choose? Weight or Ligthness?
